Retta is a graduate of Misericordia University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Scranton where she received a Master of Science in Community Counseling. Her comprehensive education is what lead her to become licensed in Mental Health Counseling. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor.
Retta is a compassionate soul who loves nature and to foster growth of human beings in mind, body, and spirit. After extensive experience in inpatient substance abuse treatment Retta has gained a profound understanding of when anyone experiences trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for anyone’s life to become unmanageable. Her passion is to bring healing to the people who have been through a traumatic and stressful experience. Retta also has experience in treating and assisting in youth detention centers as well as individuals on the autistic spectrum. It is Retta’s mission to prevail to aid children, adults, and families in developing healthy self-perceptions, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and regain the confidence to manage life’s greatest stressors.
