The goal of the “Letting Go” group is to have a safe place for everyone to further explore everyone’s own personal history of feeling of codependency. Many of the resulting behaviors fall into two main categories. The first being an extreme and often uncontrollable external focus on others, coupled with little or no self-awareness. The second being a confusion about one’s genuine essential powers and how to use them.
This group focuses on individuals who find themselves to be codependent on people, alcohol, or substances. Other coexisting factors include fear, panic, eating disorders, and other addictive behaviors. All group members will need to maintain a willingness to openly and honestly do their own work. The goal is to achieve self-love and trust, living your own life, and truly loving others in a way that enhances you and them.
